I started my career in Davis School District teaching Spanish at Northridge High, but after 5 years, the Department of Federal Programs picked me up to coordinate ESL services and Latinos in Action in Secondary schools. My latest project is helping to develop English Language Development courses so that Multilingual Learners can earn English credit while building literacy skills.
