Using Literature Circles to develop independent readers and responsive thinkers (Double Session)

This workshop will address the creation of literature circles for use with classroom novels in higher levels. The presenter will describe the steps of implementing lit circles: choosing novels, organizing groups, defining student roles, developing accountability and moving discussions to focus on student opinion and real-life situations.
